GT6 Head Swap

Listers and Lurkers,

Can anyone tell me if there's any problem in using a GT6+ head on a '73 Mk3
recessed block?  I had the + lump rebuilt last year only to find a crack in
the block, which seeps coolant (a long story).  Fortunately, the original
motor came with the car and its lower end looks good.
