OK,
By 'lock in from the bottom of the spring', you mean put the spacer on the 
bottom. Regardless of which end of the spring I tried to put the spacer on, I 
could not get the inner sleeve of the spacer to slip inside the circular 
diameter of the spring. I even tried freezing the spacer to make it contract 
and slip in but without luck. Maybe I should have boiled the springs and froze 
the spacers to get it to work. 
When you start to put the spring and spacer together you will see what I mean. 
Maybe the 'stock' springs from VB are not the same inner diameter as true stock 
springs, thus my problem.
Let me know when you start putting them together and how you fare with them.
