TR4s didn't have 'angle drives' on speedo cable (at tranny output) until TR4A I believe. Carl Sereda '63 TR4 since '74 >>Sorry guys but the Tr4's I have had always had the cable route forward from the angle drive under the tranny cover, into the engine bay, up through the horizontal hole on the firewall (above the slave) and into the firewall almost directly behing the speedo.
