Greetings,
On a TR6 engine, there is a Pulley and Damper Assembly
screwed to the front of the crankshaft. On it are the timing marks,
and it drives the fan belt.
The inner hub is assembled to the outer pulley with a sort of thick
rubber band between, which is the vibration damping bit. Like every
other rubber piece on these cars, it is cracking with age. I have never
heard of anyone replacing or rebuilding this component. Mine would
seem to need some attention.
Could anyone share any experience with this?
                Thanks,

Regards,
        Rick Barnard
