I don't know for sure about the difference in splines, although I've heard
Spridget wires won't fit Spitfire hubs. I do know, though, that the Spridget
wire wheel was only a 4" width, while the Spitfire wire wheel was a 4.5".
There might (or might not) be issues with offset as well?
