The alternator fitted to the Jaguar XJ6 is apparently a good fit, and it is
made by Lucas. You will need to change the front plate around so that it
pivots/mounts correctly. The non-aircon cars had a 65 watt model and those
with aircon used the 75 watt model. The 55 watt model in the same range was
fitted to the Ford Sierra if the Jag ones frighten you with too much
output... Check that there are two connectors for the charging circuit to
connect to - a single 3/8 inch blade connector is only rated at 35 watts.
