Hi Dave
I am not sure of the CR of the standard PI engine (9.5:1 rings a bell) but
running mine on UK 97 R.O.N. petrol, I often get the feeling it only stops
running because the petrol pump stops! It has a feel similar to my 2000 when
it is going to run on.

| Rob, Kas Kastner's competition manual is very specific about this.  You

| tell the current CR by measuring the height of the head and it will tell
| you how much to take off for 10:1.  Since I don't have mine here I can't
| tell you the specifics until I get home and have a look.
