Hi Rob,
First step might be to see how much you end up boring out your block. If you
have to bore it at all, you might as well go big, since you'll be buying
pistons anyway, and the boring is a flat rate per hole. Your compression will
go up somewhat from that; then maybe you won't need to shave as much off the
head.
