I am sorry to say I can't quite agree with the term "slick" from what I saw.
I seriously suggest that the designers re-think their colour scheme. The
contrast intensities and colour differences on the text are so odd that it
makes reading quite difficult.
I work in the electronic media and advertising industry so I see a lot of
content. The new site is not quite ready. I would suggest some re-eveluation
is in order.
