Removing the TR4 dash to replace the "crash pads"... top, lower left &
lower right.

>From anyone who's been there: Is it advisable or necessary to
completely pull the dash to do this? I can probably peel the old stuff
off but not sure how easily the new slips on (appears to need to be
glued back behind vents). If yes to pulling the dash then it seems that
means pulling the steering wheel, etc?

Also -- am I going to be removing the windscreen frame or will the top
pad tuck under that inner rubber seal?

Wood dash is removed and I think I've unbolted everything that unbolts
as the metal dash is loose (within the constraints of the steering
column) just wanted to decide if I rip the old pads off now or take the
disassembly a bit further. Thanks for any advice.
