Tim, as a board member for the Southern California Triumph Owner's
Association, I take comments like that very seriously (as do my fellow board
members).  Can you confirm for me that you were at the SCTOA website, rather
than the site for the Triumph Register of Southern California ?  Any idea
which email address it went to ?  (Usually either webmaster@sctoa.org or
pres@sctoa.org)

In fact, ISTR getting some sort of query from you back when I was on the
presidential hot seat (which would've been more than 2 months ago), and your
return email address didn't work.

I will freely admit, we move slow on such things.  The mailbox only gets
checked once or twice a month, and I don't think we currently send out a
"Welcome !" packet.  However, I will investigate and make sure your
membership has been processed, and that you get a copy of the November
newsletter.

That seems very strange ...
