Pumping the pedal won't help as the m/c is already on my workbench ;)

Your process would still leave residual DOT4 in the slaves, you're confident
there's no overhaul/clean on the slaves required when changing from DOT4 to
5.  The VTR pages imply that ANY mixing of the 2 types is bad:

Open "all" drain bleeder screws and let the fluid roll out, give it a little
help by pumping the pedal a few times, close the bleed screws and refill the
tank being carefull to let the tank drain back into all the lines before you
touch any pedal and then start adjusting/bleeding all over again, just be
sure during the bleeding process the fluid level does not drop below the
inner tube resovoir, in plain words keep it full, "YES" empty the slave as
well.  "FT"
