Rubber mats are easier to check for dampness than carpet lining and
easier to take up. I had to replace the floor because a previous owner
let wet after market carpet sit on the floor. Rubber mats s one factory
item I have become a fan of. Carpets may look nicer when they are fresh
and cleanish but it is so much easier to dry & clean a rubber mat.
