clutch pressure plate diagnosis

I wonder if I can use either of two clutch pressure plates for the rebuild
of my TR3A?  On one the three release levers (fingers) are so stiff that
they require me to use both hands in order to press these fingers down.  Are
the springs too weak on this one?

On the second clutch pressure plate: I've noticed that occassionally one of
the fingers doesn't come all the way up.  Does this mean anything?
