Actual "plug" is a tapered PIPE thread " object.

Therefore and just like most othe LBCs, it will NOT "bottom out" (surmising
you are still chatting about "transmission check plug"???).

That is also the reason that a "seal(ing) copper, crush washer" is not
needed.
