I was thinking in terms of ignition key though I can hot wire either of
my cars in a minute or less.
I never lock my cars on the theory that whatever I have inside for
someone to take has less value than the cost to repair damage caused by
breaking in. If someone was determined to take your vehicle nothing
could stop them.
If I were going to become I car thief I would first invest an a tow truck.
