I painted my floors with a very expensive epoxy paint. It has stood 
the test of lots of mechanical work over eight years and still looks 
good. The couple of people I know who have used lower priced, 
especially latex-type paint, have had the same experience of the 
paint lifting at tire patches. It might be good for some users of the 
lower price paint to chime in and tell us their results.
