Yeah, I was afraid of that if I use shims.  I could also check with a local 
machine shop to see if they could line bore the mounts, but I think that the 
mounts are supposed to be tight on the rack and I'd have to be careful that 
they don't over bore it.   I'll call Richard on Monday for suggestions.

Another option might be to contact Richard Good, and ask if he could machine the
mounts out to fit your rack.

Unless the difference is _very_ slight, I wouldn't use shims. The shims only
make the hole larger in one dimension, it will still be too small the other way,
and may possibly deform the rack eventually.
