I'm planning on sorting through the front suspension on my TR4 in the next
few months and am looking for some answers and recommendations if possible
for the following:

For the lower trunnions, is there an easy diagnostic to know when to
replace? Is it just something normally done for a good rebuild, or are
those trunnions pretty much trouble free rarely requiring replacement?

I am leaning towards original rubber bushings, not the urethane. No plans
on high performance driving with the car - but would there be specific parts
that urethane is superior to the original for even daily driving?

I think my front springs are due for a freshening. I have about 4.375"
clearance between frame and ground at the lower wishbone area, and about 1 -
1.5" clearance with tire (165-15) and fender. Based on previous list info,
it looks like fresh springs may put me in the 3" fender clearance area.
Does this sound right? How much adjustability can I get here - perhaps buy
the shorter springs and go with spacers for final fit? My problem may also
be on the older rear suspension - fender clearance there is about 2".

TRF is winding down their winter sale, but has some pretty good prices,
including their full "magic kit" Any previous purchases with opinions on
whether this full kit is the way to go, or should I try to selectively
improve.

Thanks for any advice,
Randy
