Hi Mike,
Are you saying that the rack unit it moving from side to side in its
mountings? If so, there are rubber bushing that mount it, and they
might need to be replaced. There is also a "solid" rack mounting kit
that can be installed.
If you suspect a problem with the unit itself, it can be adjusted,
but I've not done that. But I did install a "quick rack" a few years
ago, and have been very happy with it.
