I may have asked this a few months ago but the senior moments are more
frequent now! What are the things that can cause a backfire through the
carbs? If you were trouble shooting this problem what steps would you take
and in what order? Here's the car's status: carbs recently rebuilt and
tuned, Lucas Sports Coil, Stock Plugs gapped at .30, New Magnecor Plug
Wires, New Rotor, Condenser & Points, Timing to spec, New Facet Fuel Pump &
Holley Regulator (pressure tested). Maybe it's the cooler weather but the
car doesn't seen to get up to temp (per the gauge) as fast as normal. If I
try and put the choke in before it's fully up to temp, it magnifies the
problem.

Thanks
