JM No and Yes, but white snaps were only found on cars with white soft tops
and tonneaux. White with white, black with black.

Hey John,
This one may be worth further debate. Let's just talk TR6 Early. My 71
when I purchased it from the second owner had the original black top on it.
On
the Black top and on the body of the car were white plastic snaps. Now not
really "White", but an off white translucent. I know the original owner so I
could get him to confirm this if needed. I have seen a few other original TR6
black tops with these snaps as well as vendors selling and passing them off
as the real thing. I have the original TR6 tonneau and it has black snaps so
the white ones only relate to the car. Going back, TR4's would certainly
have silver metal snaps so keep it to the TR6 only.

Furthermore, I am in doubt if a white top was ever offered on a TR6? That
may be where you have me. What do you say of this question? Special order or
common option? I would say the last white Triumph top commonly provided would
be TR4/ TR4A same with the Tonneau but I could be wrong.

Stickler for this kind of stuff so please feel free.
Cheers,
Darrell
