[TR] rear oil gallery end plug

Putting a new clutch in the TR3A this weekend
and noticed a trace of oil
coming down from the rear oil gallery plug. When I
removed the plug it
looks like the engine builder used RTV in the threads to
seal it, so I was
wondering what might be a better solution. My first thought
was to coat the
threads with Permatex as Teflon tape would probably not hold
up to the heat.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill
