I think they were probably referring to the case of trying to add a J-type
to a car/gearbox that did not have one originally. If you buy all the
non-Volvo parts required from a vendor, that may be true.
OTOH, there are definitely vendors who are selling Volvo overdrives as being
"for" a TR6. Sometimes they address all the issues, sometimes they don't.
