Several years ago we started using a battery maintenance device on our airpl=
ane battery during the winter. The battery maintenance device is on a timer=
so it=E2=80=99s on about an hour a day . Since we started using it we have=
we have not had a battery failure. A great improvement over previous batte=
ry life. Aviation batteries are very expensive.
I also have a Battery Minder in the garage that I move between cars in t=
he cold weather. I=E2=80=99ve got a older BMW that generates random ( it s=
eems) trouble codes if I attempt to start it and the battery voltage is low.=
