I purchased a HANS device during the SOVREN Labor Day races at Portland, and
wore it for two days of the 3 day weekend. I had to adjust the way I get
ready in the car as once the device and helmet are on I couldn't see my
belt/harness connection. Once you are totally strapped in your side to side
head movement is restricted, but once underway, and since I already had well
placed mirrors this didn't matter.

I much prefer the feeling of the harnesses pushing down on the shoulder
portion of the HANS than my harnesses pushing directly on my collarbone. It
actually feels more comfortable.

We're slowly seeing more and more at SOVREN events.
