Could it be a sticking float or crap keeping the float needle open? This is just a wild guess. I'm sure others can be more helpful. just the first thing that come to mind. Richard Seaton To listers:

I had the same problem 2 weeks ago, but it had been 7 years! The carbs are flooding out. The problem is that the floats are stuck open. Take a hammer and tap the side of the carb bowls a few times.

Fred --The first thing you'll want to do is identify which carb is leaking. (or area between the carbs?) It could be from an O-ring gone bad at the bottom of the float bowl. Or a sticking float level
