- I think most cars that ran hood louvers on the race tracks back in the '60's were built with small in-line 4 cylinders nad then stuffed with V8s, ie., Sunbeam Tigers, Cobra's, and some Austin-Healey

- On the late model roadsters (I have a '69) the lower roll bar mounts are exactly as Sid said, on the ramps behind the seat. AND, while there are 2 two hole mounts in the wall behind the package shelf
