Original finish was brushed aluminum. When I put a new engine in my 73 I had it bead blasted and finished it with Crystal Clear Powder Coat. It looks great and has held up well for the past two years

The brake lines couplers and calipers and slave cylinders on the TR-6 were changed from one thread dimension to another in maybe 75??? IIRC. I think they went from SAE to metric. Found this out after

I managed to get new belts on my 73 by placing a jack under the sump and raising the engine that way the fractions of an inch it took to get a new belt on. Was careful to watch that I was not denting
