Hi Tracy 2 choices: Weld up the oblong holes; and then redrill them round so the new clevis pin is a snug fit, and grease it. Alternatively - buy new rods, and grease the clevis pins before fitting.

Hi Tracy, Yes - that's the same shape as my old car - the early style - but mine was slightly more modified - louvres in the bonnet , Ford engine etc. Don't know anything about that particular one -
