Consider fabricating your own. You can build one a whole lot bigger, for a whole lot less money. I've got a 12'x20' greenhouse type shed that cost about $20 to make. It's a greenhouse like structure.

The car probably is actually a 1980, faked as a 1975 from a parts car title and vin tag to get around emissions. My 1980 is listed to the MVA as a 1980 only because I'm running historical tags. If I

Almost everything we do with our Spitfires is gloriously illegal. From how we drive them, to how we maintain or modify them. I'm just not going to worry that "Big Brother" could see my message about

Rope trick works wonders. You lock the engine up with some rope stuffed into a cylinder that has the piston at the bottom of the stroke, and the valves closed. Easiest to do it with all the spark plu

Na, parkerization is flat and rather ugly. Lots of my guns are parkerized, and they aren't pretty like the black on my Spitfire trim. Having had that trim off, I noticed that the coating is *not* on

There's an old saying "speed costs money, how fast can you afford to go?" It's as valid today, with you, as it was then. If you've got the money, you can get 10,000 horsepower out of that engine. Gon

I think it will. I believe Rimmer's shows these two replacement driveshafts as having the same part number. You're not going to have the correct type of joints for the 72, but what the heck.

I'd be *very* cautious about trying to tweak caster by using uneven numbers of mounting the lower control arm. That's a dandy way to break a trunion. The unparallel arcs that would result in the uppe

Paul, what you've learned applies to suspensions with double ball joints, as I described, not to trunion suspensions. A trunion can pivot about two axis only. Without the third axis of rotation, it b
