I have the same problem with belt removal on my BJ8. Luckily I had a cog type belt installed and by turning it sideways was just able to remove it past the large nut on the end of the crankshaft. Th

That is indeed the correct nut Edwin, a throwback to the days of hand Take a closer look at the mounts. The letters RH & LH are stamped in and are about 1/2" high. Short of that I'm a bit stumped. Th

I had a similar problem on my BJ8. It was not that the engine was too far forward but because the engine had sunk too low. Someone on the list offered a way to check motor mounts which completely esc

With fresh motor mounts, you should be able to insert a business card under the smaller rubber block, old collapsed ones will have the upper block forced into the lower one.
