Although I had done this hastily before (and broken my pretty yellow plastic 8-bladed fan), I am doing it more careful and plan on using the stock fan. (it proably didn't need a plastic fan anyway) A

Now I see the why of using the balance piece. Since the engine shop balanced the internals of the engine, I wonder if I should have the fan & extension balanced? (before putting it back on? & possibl
