I am putting together a mostly stock '86 305 for the street. I wanted a 2 bbl carb for some economy and traded a guy for an early intake and Rochester 2GCV carb. The intake is P/N 8877652 dated D186.

The freeze plug is the most common fix for those oil fillers holes. If you want to replace it they are in several of the cataloges I have. Including Chrome or black. Pat 67 Nova SS 41 Art Deco chevy

Mike, you sure You can use that old intake on newer engines??? Somewhere along GM changed the angled bolts that held intakes on to straight up and down bolts, with holes in heads to match. Bolts won'
