Not too familiar with the 4 cyl cars but how does one overfill the diff? I mean how would one put in that much extra oil in the fill hole unless the rear of the car was considerably higher than the

The diff is the same for all the cars from part way through BN1 right through to the end of 3000 production. So you are right, it takes some talent to overfill it. Mind you, I've seen the way some s

Hi Keith The easiest way to refill the diff after you reassemble it is just before you reinsert the last axle. i.e one side high, diff pumpkin in, other axle in - then pour the required volume of oil

I think I am repeating myself from last week, but to remove the hub, extract the axle, reverse it and use the 5 nuts to make it act like a puller. For a socket, we can use a KD-3246 for Ford 4wd hub
