- I take the opposite approach. The carbs are the last thing that I mess with if the car is not running right. Usually the problem turns out to be something in the ignition system. Peter Schauss 1963 B

- Your sequence is partially wrong. You want to set your gap/dwell as the very first thing. When you adjust this you change your timing, so if you adjust timing first, then gap/dwell, then your timing
