What should I use to plug the holes in the firewall. I'm still getting some major heat seaping in especially around the stearing column. Most of the rubber grommits are disentigrating so I need somet

If it's temporary, I recommend getting some Mastic tape (it comes in rolls with paper backing and is used for sealing between the layers of steel roofing. You can kneed it and push it into any holes

I used strip trim adhesive to seal up my trim piece on the windshield, also used it to put the body molding cappers on the trunck and body seams. It would work good on the firewall grommets. I found
