Allen, There are 2 brown wires coming off the # 7 terminal (top fuse, heater side.) they go to the starter ignition switch and the solenoid. THe one you see is likely to go through the firewall and i

test, (since all the fuses are definitely Rust ALWAYS I had a similar problem on My '61 Sprite II, but it was the brass rivet that holds the spade terminal onto the sprung clip that the fuse sits in.
