Just to add a little to what Bob said about the ferries to Nova Scotia. The Ferry from Portland to Yarmouth is a large car ferry. One out in international waters (or is it just in Canadian waters?)

Ah yes, the "Bluenose". I remember it well. Did a driving tour of Nova Scotia about 17 years ago. I enjoyed it, but would have enjoyed it more in a TR (or a Stag).
