Say it ain't so... At least thinking about getting ready to start re-doing the rear axles. According to the Haynes manual, the famous Churchill tool is suggested for the removal of the old couplings.

I have done it with the proper tool and while you could probably figure out something it is certainly easier with the tool. You could probably make some type clamp. You need to take the pressure off
