My '73 TR6 is my first. It has only lap belts. Is that original? If it shipped with a harness (and maybe if it didn't), I'd like install one. I plan to race SCCA Solo II this year in a "stock" class.

A lap belt is absolutely enough to drive your Stock or Street Prepared TR6 in an SCCA Solo2 autocross. Be aware that you can not use any aftermarket shoulder belt unless you have a roll bar. In other

Actually, it is a HUGE problem. When you consider the force multipliers involved with a collision, those faded belts suddenly become very flimsy. If a 8000 lb belt has lost 80% of its strength due to
