I have the Mocal spin on adaptor fitted to my GT6, 2000 & 2500s, without the slightest leak on any of them. I wonder if there has been a dodgy production run?. --

Are the Flowtech and the Mocal the same? It may simply be the item which is most commonly for sale in the US. The others mentioning the need to modify the item did not specify the manufacturer, so on

The Triumph Tune catalog has a story about spin on adapters and how they solve start up oil starvation due to the oil draining out of the filter. I have a spin on adapter on my GT6+ and it works fine
