Hi Folks Well we are about to collect our first ever Spitfire (well on Wednesday), a 1500. Not too much I'm unfamiliar with as much of it is the same as Heralds which I ran for years, and this fills

Just unclip from outside, remove the two bolts holding the metal horizontal piece attached to the rear of the soft top to the body and carefully fold down. There is also a neat boot for the soft top

It should be OK to leave the soft top on teh car, just fold it down and free it from the rear cockpit rail. I've never had a hardtop seal fail (but then again I don't use my hardtop all that much), b
