Let me answer this one! The reason why there are no California VTR conventions is because of Triumphest. The event is rotated among the Cal clubs and DCTRA and takes so much planning and effort that

I have advocated that the VTR board REQUIRE local chapters to hold a convention on a revolving basis either on their own or jointly with another chapter. There are enough chapters across the US that

What I meant was that TRfest was the result of VTR ignoring the west coast. Now that it does exist (and is an established tradition), it does interfere heavily with any west coast club hosting a VTR
