anything over 3"-4" should work just fine for lowering the spring pan, as long as the suspension is already at full extension. The pan will only need to come down about 2" to relieve all the spring p

Keep an open mind on the jack technique. If you have an air ratchet, the long bolt method (Go out and buy a chunk of 5/16" all-thread and cut it to suit) could be do-able, IF you lock the double nut

I've done both ways and since tossed out the 6" bolts and now use only the jack method. Safe if done right and waaay easier. Nice name by the way, whats with the extra 'n'? Regards, Glen Byrns '59 b

I just removed and replace the front springs in a 69 Midget. No jack, no bolts, no touching the spring perch either. Support the car on jack stands, remove the top king pin /shock arm bolt and tie ro
