The springs are different. One is a light gauge spring and the other is a heavy gauge wire. While you're at it you may as well get new springs and a vacuum advance plate also. The vacuum plates deter

On more thing - check the advance/point cam - it should say 7.5. If the slots are different in size put the heavy spring on the longer of the 2 slots. Not all cams have that feature but some do. Timi
