I am going to swap out my 1500 Distributor with a 1600 Model on my 1964
SPL310.
Can anyone tell me:
- Do I still gap the point to 1500 standards (.018 - .020)
- One of the weight springs (the one that travels further) looks kinda
streched. The springs dont match). Are both weight springs supposed to be
tight and look exactly the same?
- Are there specs for the travel distance and vacume (lbs) for the vacume
advance?
- Is the timing set the same.
Any advice would be most appreciated.
