- I have a 75 Spit and wanted to replace the UV joints in the Half Shafts while I am replacing the leaking Pinion Seal. I do not have access to a lift but do have jack stands. Is replacing the UV joint

- You can replace the U-joints while under the car, but it is a tedious, unpleasant job. If the joints are really old and rusted in place it may be extremely difficult. You need to use a sturdy C-clamp
