Get a point file and file (or use a Dremel with a cut off wheel as a minigrinder) the split open some more so you can increase the clamping force. Another option is to "knurl" the shaft but I have no

I wonder it the "slot" is closing up before it achieves full gripping force? Seems unlikely to have the same problem on two actuator arms though.. If that is the case, you could open the "slot" slig
