You only want to tighten this to where it has very little (or no) pressure on the bushing. I have heard stories of people who have tightened this tie rod too tight and over time it warps the OD hous

One rule-of-thumb that has always worked for me is to tighten until the bushing compresses to roughly the diameter of the flat washer. This works for rubber bushings; for urethane or nylon a bit less

Thanks for the comments on the stabilizer rod. I would have had it all discombobulated thinking that I was suppose to pull the engine and trany away from the radiator. That would have had it torqued
